Come Practice with Kandy

Three dates are set to practice yoga together. What does this mean?

We all bring the props we need for our personal practices. Then we share the same space for 90 minutes. I will do my mat practice and you are welcome to come and join in shared practice time. Certainly I will “mess” with you a bit (feedback/direction), however, it will not be the normal classroom structure. Please let me know you are attending, one, two or all three sessions.

Mindfulness-based stress reduction
Classes coming in January & February

Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is a program that incorporates mindfulness to assist people with pain and a range of conditions and life issues that were initially difficult to treat in a hospital setting. Developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in the 1970s by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn, MBSR uses a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, and yoga to help people become more mindful.

The 8-week course is designed to reduce stress, facilitate relaxation and promote physical health and well-being.

Would you like to learn and practice skills that will help you with the challenges and demands of everyday life and that will bring more balance to your life in the process?
