Caloosahatchee Mindfulness is a center for mindfulness bringing together like-minded people with many teachers and teachings in one special space right here in Southwest Florida. 

Having a center where a community can be created and sustained has long been the dream of those who provided classes and other educational and meditative opportunities throughout Southwest Florida in the past. 

We have a weekly schedule of classes and events that all are based on Mindfulness based practices.

Weekly Programs

Starting September 4th

Wednesday Evening Meditation  - 6:30 – 8:00 PM

Sitting and walking meditation followed by a study of Buddhist teachings in the Plum Village Tradition. No experience necessary.  All are welcome. Donation


Wednesday Morning Book Group  – 10-11:30 AM

In a small group setting study and share books on mindfulness practices that create happier and healthier living.   Information, call Elaine St. Clair (239)292-4189 Donation

The next book we will bring to discuss is No Mud, No Lotus by Thich Nhat Hanh.  “Most people are afraid of suffering. But suffering is a kind of mud to help the lotus flower of happiness grow. There can be no lotus flower without the mud.”  -Thich Nhat Hanh

We will begin with a discussion of how the authors words can be relevant in our live.
